Tuition Assistance Grants and Scholarships
The Greater Lansing Catholic Education Foundation is pleased to announce three tuition assistance grant/scholarship programs for the 2010-2011 school year.
Diocesan Scholarship
This new scholarship, funded through support from parishes without schools in the Diocese of Lansing, is need-based. Families of Catholic students who are currently in sixth or seventh grade are eligible to apply. Scholarship awards are $500, a family is eligible for only one award per student and the award is paid directly to your student’s school tuition account for the 2010-2011 school year.
Holy Cross Crusaders Scholarship
New this year, and in honor of the long history of Holy Cross Parish and School in our Lansing community, is the Holy Cross Crusaders Scholarship. Any family sending a child to Resurrection School, Immaculate Heart of Mary-St. Casimir School, or Lansing Catholic High School is eligible to apply. Ten need-based scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded.
Tuition Assistance Grants
The traditional Greater Lansing Catholic Education Foundation tuition assistance grants are also available for the upcoming school year. These are issued as $1,000 grants, no more than two per family, no more than one per student. Any family sending a child to a Catholic School in the Northwest Region of the Diocese of Lansing (Clinton, Eaton, Ingham or Shiawassee Counties) is eligible to apply.
Application Process
All of the scholarships/grants listed above use a common application found on this website. There is only one application needed per family and it covers all three scholarships/grants. The information you provide about the school(s) and grade level(s) in which your child is enrolled for the 2010-2011 school year will determine for which scholarship/grant your family is eligible.
